For product that “fail”, there are two general types of behaviour;
One type, is where the discharge is clearly limited by a single element, while the other element appear to have expected performance.
The other is where all elements exhibit similar behaviour and all fall short of the expected discharge capacity, more or less by the same amount.
Our observation is that both types of performance short-coming occurs for both monoblocks and 2V cells. Systems with monoblocks tend to fail more with Type (a) behaviour, while systems with 2V cells tend to exhibit Type (b) profile.
