To cut to the chase, it means that Telstra has had considerable exposure to different forms of VRLA technology.
From different manufacturers throughout the world.
And, historically, no one battery manufacturer has ever been able to supply all the lead-acid battery requirements in Telstra’s network.
I have already said that Telstra has learnt how to be “comfortable” with VRLA batteries.
To understand this, it is first necessary to explain the historical perspective of dealing with VRLA technology.
