The method of capacity and service-life assessment will be familiar to all of you. End of useful service is when the battery (or cell) capacity falls below 80% of the rating. That is, we expect that the temperature-corrected measured capacity will fall somewhere in the blue area.
Note that in Telstra the commissioning capacity is always at least the rated capacity. (If not, the batteries or cells are rejected at commissioning).
